​"Magic Takes Over Indy" was a collaboration between PopCon and Return of Aetheria. The eight by sixteen foot piece served as the backdrop at the cosplayer photo booth. It featured over 30 references to fantasy pop culture and Indianapolis landmarks. From Falkor landing on Monument Circle to the magic beanstalk sprouting in front of the Indianapolis skyline, this tribute to fantasy culture was the perfect way to celebrate PopCon.
